Car won’t start, rattling nosie
So I tried starting my car one morning and just heard a rattling noise, no crank no nothing just the noise. So I assumed it was the starter, replaced it, car started better and just was better. 2 days later, we’re back to square one. Sounds like a coin in a tin Can. Pls help idk what to do.
I would check for a bad battery, or the alternator is not charging the battery.
Definitely clean the connections on the battery. . ..
Charge the battery for 2 hours and see if the cars starts right up. Measure the battery voltage prior and after to see if it is taking a charge. voltage should be higher after 2 hours.
If the car does start right after a two hour charge, measure the voltage at the battery and it should read at least 13.5vdc. . .If it does not, the alternator might not be charging the battery.
I would start there.
