Can someone tell me what this is?

I'm going up to look at a car tomorrow and I was trying to figure out what this blue object near the charcoal canister was, figured maybe someone else has seen it before and would know what it is. I don't really want to drive for 3.5 hours to go check it out and not know what the hell it is.

****, I feel dumber than a plumber in med school. But to my defense, I was unsure where a bov would go in a stock intercooler system (being a 3-na rx7 owner).

Don't believe them. It's what holds the turn signal blinker fluid.

Okay well now that we have established R2D2's cousin is a bov, who knows what kind it is? The seller is the owners brother and doesn't know much about the mods...

here's the set of pics I got, he want's 4k obo. I'm thinking I'll offer 2.5k?

That is the bugger in question. Oh and all emissions, AC, and cruise control removed. Unrestricted exhaust, and stock wastegate....

That car is really clean. It looks pretty stock though, besides the seats and bov. Not really sure why some of the hoses are yellow but they look like their just connected to stock stuff (this is also coming from a highly un-mechanical person, so I could be wrong). If the motor is in good shape it wouldn't surprise to see the car go for at least $3.5k

Blue is usually a Turbosmart or TurboXS color.

its it actually a 10AE or just a repaint, engine bay isn't the right color for a real AE...

Craving turbocharged, eh Daulton?... Heh'

Doesn't look too bad. With a little bit of work you can get it looking and performing well. How does it run?

Looks pretty nice overall! I'd be curious to know how many miles are on the new engine. Seems like what's been done is not substantial and has been tastefully done. Depending on how many miles are on the engine, $4k may well be fair. $2.5k is a steal unless the engine's been blown since the rebuild
