Best looking FC's EVER! Thread
RB, read the f&^%ing rules, and stop posting pics of YOUR car. Regardless of how nice it is, this thread specifically tells you not to. Yeah, we all have our own styles, but the english language is the same for all of us,

Listen loser...I posted 14 photos this week here of the rare Racing Beat cars.
Up until this year they were RB cars and always will be. These cars have not been shown publicly, but occasionally for 23 years.
People either don't know what these cars are...or they know EXACTLY what they are.
Jim Mederer is Mazda's "Carroll Shelby" ...you should bow down.
Nobody really owns these kind of cars, we take care of them for awhile.
I posted 19 pics in the other thread...so what's your problem?
Some were posted because people asked for a few more...what's your problem?
Your not dissin' me, you're dissin' them and Racing Beat
You can't count either.
I also posted 2 dozen cool FCs that we my friends and racers cars. Maybe you don't appreciate history? You all could learn a little.
Don't be so small, unless you are small.
14 piictures in 5 days...get a life.
If you guys don't like the old RB stuff, just ignore my posts and post all your interesting info.

Jeez man, you're way over-reacting to this. Not everyone likes your front end, who cares? There's nothing in the world that is liked by 100% of the population, it's a fact of life.
It is cool to see some old school modded 7s tho, I wouldn't sport the front end, but I wouldn't sport a lot of the stuff in this thread.

)
But I'll post some up later for you after the grade schoolers are in bed.
And even though technically I'm the new owner...it's still in the running for best FC truck "evar". If it wasn't for me posting you wouldn't be seeing this truck for another 20 years.
The sticker on the tag is from '95 and the mileage in Jan was 3,200 miles...I've put another thousand on it, and feel guilty. But Jim Mederer said drive the heck out of it. So you'll be seeing it around more than evar.
The truck has a funky nose too, but compared to the normal B2000 or REPU it was a concept show vehicle built for Mazda Corp. purposely to help the lagging sales of mini trucks at the time when full size trucks were booming.
The truck was an '89 B2000. Racing Beat stuffed in a Turbo II 13b with a Mogi built 4 speed torque converter (same as the 'Roadster) with a 3400 rpm stall speed. These transmissions are the same ones used for the Mickey Thompson stadium truck series and of course Baja. The thing is mental in multipying the torque delivey. It reminds me of my dad's Mopar torqflite drag car...no slushbox. You lose no boost while going thru the gears.
That funky nose is a one piece 'glas bumper/fenders/grille unit...which I was given the mold also.
The 'glas hood has ram air to the airbox and the stock IC/"Interwarmer"
The 'glas bed is specifically made to haul a Kawasaki jetski that was a birthday gift to Jim Mederer from his mom, all painted up to match the Mazda blue and white. Like the truck, the ski has never seen water. (His mom is at least 96 now and an ex-Corvette racer).
The wing in the back lifts up for loading and locking using an FC hatch/latch mechanism. There's a stainless pin in the front of the bed that locks the ski's nose in when put in gear.
The inside was conservatively done in gray Connelly leather by Warren Morimoto.
All the hassles of trying to splice in a Turbo II into a 4 cyl B2000 were simplified by installing the complete wiring harness of the FC, including the instuments. It's cool to get behind the wheel and see the FC gauge cluster instead of the stock gauges. The AC is ice cold, the Panasonic system was hi quality but not outrageous like it might be if done today.
The wheels are period looking Woodbells, rare Japenese. The tires are the original Goodyear VR 50 Gatorbacks standard on the TII and Corvettes in the day. They are shaved 205/50 16 fronts and 225/50 16s in the rear. I've been looking for original VR 50s for my California Coupe to no avail. The plan is to bag these wheels up and put on some 10th anniversary white wheels to keep it sort of "period correct/FC looking".
The install is as complete as a factory installation would be if Mazda would have ever made another REPU. I'd sure like to post some photos but the forum police would have a fit.
It's called the "The California Haulin' " truck...and really guys, it's for all rotorheads to enjoy. It's also FASTER than The California Coupe and The California Roadster.

ive got a brilliant idea...... if you have a youtube account. why dont you interview yourself, and go over all of the historic facts of all the rb vehicles and point out things on video so we can see what you are talking about instead of trying to visualize it. it would also help with the thread clutter, plus even if we dont like the pictures... im am sure seeing video of things we dont see in the pictures would be valuable....
also i am sure you can fill 10 minutes of footage and facts on each vehicle.
dude.... i just noticed this lhd vert in rhd euphoria.... wassupwitdat?

Cuntastic Manlationship.
And yes the black vert is the Tamon design kit.
I want something similar and will be doing something similar without having to pay gizillion yen to get the kit.
I am going to use the r-magic front and sides and modifying the bumper and using the 30 mm rear overfenders and blending the sides into the rear over fenders. Ill use a stock rear bumper with a custom diffuser similar to the RE one.

That's the OG in the back, hell I was old "28" at Daytona when the little green and white GTU car won its first race.
Live every moment as if it's a lifetime...

Okay class, which one of you can answer this:
Why is this FC a candidate for Best Ever?

Nobody? This is the Mazda R&D courtyard with trees! This FC was a prototype 3 rotor normally aspirated 20b. Rated at 220 hp. 1990 I think.
A select few in the media got to sample this.
Oh how I wish this could have been an option on the FD

On that note, personally I think if you post your own car in here your really full of yourself

BTW thanks for the info on Wedge Engineering, the brackets worked perfect! Really appreciated!
if we are going to get technical- the last batch of photos that hyper posted, with that blue thing, what makes those cars "THE BEST"?
A set of brakes? A stock body car with gold wheels?
Hardly the BEST I say, I think we should all bitch about that too, lol

My argument is not whether or not cars posted in here are the best or not, its simply don't post your own **** in here like requested
