Been playing with some carbon

Hey guys, i brought a few meters of carbon fibre to play with, and had a bit of down time at work. I half ruined my sun visors trying to make them outta carbon, they were my first test peice but, and i still gotta revive him, but here is a couple of the successes

I'm trying to tidy the car up at the moment, had a bad run when i went on holidays the ac drain had been blocked and was leaking under the carpet without me knowing and i put a car cover over the car when i went away, came back and it was covererd in mould so i'm in the middle of replacing alot of the screws, like the cig lighter in the car i gotta remove it and repaint it. But I'll put some more pics up as i make some more stuff

I did the same a long time ago(when I was 14) Hard as hell to lay when I was that young and really didn't know what I was doing.

Yeah i layed all the carbon myself. I just brought it from a local shop called FGI, but i'm in aus so its probably different to you guys. I got all the other materials at work though so that makes it easier

As for does this help with cooling, my car had an alloy one in there before i got it so I have always had one. But an fc at the same mechanics had to install one, as he was having overheating issues at speed and he said it made a massive difference. As for the person wanting to buy one, i could possibly make one up but I'm over in aus so it could work out pretty expensive with postage.

No. Unless you don't have the stock ducting anymore, it's purely cosmetic.

Carbon fiber looks good.

If you lack that, and the underbody tray then yes you'll be suffering cooling issues, think about it.
