B pillar Bar

This is a JDM B Pillar bar

I dont recall who makes it.

Our cars dont have C-pillars.
What works is Acura RSX C pillar bars.
I think the RSX bar is currently the longest one out there.

This might be a cosmetic mod more than anything. But I like spicing up the interior.

so i can score 20+ points at the next honda meet!.

Nah i been wanting one, mostly cosmetic. haven't drove it yet its raining. It is a nice looking bar though. Its more of a dress up option.

Its probably just as functional as a front lower arm bar.

but you can buy rear strut bars?

why not have something a little more useful and just as dressy?

I 100% agree here. It does look ok, just really no purpose.

if it was thicker and welded to the b pillar it can be used for the safety harnesses

so the rsx c pillar bar is a direct bolt on for our cars? no modifications needed? this would be a great place to have a camera mount for those who don't have roll bars

anything that is made to "look" functional but not actually functional is just rice to me. i say get a rear strut bar that bolts into the struts. looks just as good and makes it functional. like rob_xx_7 said.

but then again it would make a nice camera mount. like spirit_rx-7 i tried a camera mount using one rear strut but the camera shook like crazy like it was on a bunjie cord

I thought about that, except that it may be too far back.

That bar is really cool. Idk how sturdy the hatch shock mounts are though.

a go pro suction cupped to the moon roof or side window makes a great camera mount

it wasn't really much work, just brought the bar, and a clamp. i'll try to get some footage soon. i was also thinking the suction cup idea, and having it on the back hatch glass

I highly doubt that as there is a big difference between tying suspension arm mounts together and a not even diagonal interior brace.

from what ive read those pillars do flex alot in fcs under load and idk who all is familiar with miracle cross bars but they are extremely functional in other cars. If you ever have the chance drive a car with one in it and then take it out you WILL feel a difference

I saw a early 90s or late 80s Civic today with 3 people in it. The guy in the back seat's head was 3 inches horizontally in front of the oh-so-shiny b-pillar bar. In a rear end collision, that guy was painting the back window for sure.

IT was the mounting location I was calling into question, not the hardware.
