Apexi N1 Dual and Power FC!

Hey guys!
I just wanted to share my most recent purchases that i'm super excited about!!

this is what my old exhaust did to my bumper

First off is the Apexi N1:

Does anyone else have this exhaust? If you do how do you like it? I went from having some stupid Korean thin stainless steel exhaust to this and it's really just made the car even more enjoyable then before.

I made a video on the exhaust and PFC so that everyone could see them so, if your interested in watching that, here it is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyQlYz43oG0

Does anyone else have a Power FC? I'm just really interested in seeing what other people have to say about these two things that i have been on edge about buying and putting on my car. Both have made a huge difference but, what are ya'lls opinions?

I have the N1 Dual. Great piece, love the look and the noise. IMHO, the FCs look better with duals.

I've always thought the N1 Duals sounded the best, but I still run a single since my surge tank sits in the empty space where a muffler should be.

Power FC is leaps and bounds better than the stock ECU, did you get the adapter harness with it?

I know what you're saying..
living on my own aswell and things can be pretty hard to get enough cash for such upgrades and not die in the process!
Atleast you didn't half-*** it but bought quality parts so you could see that as an investment (although a rotary will never be a good one )

I've been wondering about a PowerFC for a while for my Turbo project.. Still torn between that and an Rtek 2.0 upgrade.. What made you choose the PFC?

Not a fan of the exhaust.. Looks too gaudy and sounds a bit tin-y compared with RacingBeat's.. Though it does sound MUCH better on a turbo car than NA [friend of mine has an N1 single on his 87 NA - ick..]

They are very loud compared to racing beat. They give th fc a nice throaty tone though. I'm using a borla xr1 as my "cat" running back to n1 duals.

I agree that it looks a little gaudy, but your tail pipes aren't sticking way out so it's not too bad. I think the sound's ok, I'm still partial to my REVII system, but to each his own. I think your car is still clean, we all do things a little differently and that's part of the fun.

I have an Rtek 2.x, but that was more of a cost choice, much cheaper than other options. I hope I can still get by with it on my new setup with 4x1200cc injectors XD

I like everything the PFC has to offer and the fact that it's a stand alone ECU. Everything is just right there at the touch of a button. You never really have to hook up a computer for anything.

I actually really enjoy how the Apexi N1 sounds. I went from some stupid korean exhaust that was REALLY loud and annoying. (it grew on me though) so, when we put on this one, i was kinda disappointed at first (believe it or not) at how quiet it was compared to what i was used to. The racing beat is a nice exhaust but, it's just not my style.

What are the differences in cost between the apexi and rb? I've not seen the apexi for sale on many sites.

$1,256 for a complete exhaust from RB and around 1,200 for the Apexi system.
