definately shitty that he killed that guy, but for the damage done to that van I would have expected the 7 to be in much worse shape.

yeah sucks for the guy he hit =/ Since this is on the forum though, I'll have to admit sad that such an idiot got a hold of such a nice looking vert. I want that spoiler T_T.

On another note shouldn't this be under non tech?

The reporter said the driver was a 41 year old man . So I think that rules out the punk kid theory

The article said the car was not stolen either.

It was probably someone on this forum.

Anyone got any pics of red S4 verts with sport spoilers and those rims? Lets see if we can figure out who it is.

its a 41 year old hispanic guy, you think he will be on here? Im curious why he fled, well it said he did have a female passanger that got out so maybe it was domestic violence who knows...

too bad they didnt have a helicopter taping it, wanna see how the fc held up in the chase lol This guy had the top down, running from the police in that car musta been one hell of a adrenaline rush lol

It was an S5, apparently lowered with wheels and tires. I'd say that's more than capable of over 100mph weaving through traffic.

Not that I would know...

well in cali the cops will back off if they believe the chase is two dangerous on the freeway and over 100mph on the freeway weaving through traffic is dangerous for them. so i bet like the article said they backed off and called in the chopper.

cop cars are slow. they have about 500 pounds of computer and meatal cage and a big meatal bumper not to mention the crown vic is a hevy car in its self. so v8 with high conpresion heads and a chiped ecu and no cats. plus 500 pounds = just as fast as a stock crown vic. some hondas(acura) are faster stock

Can you provide a more direct link? It appears the story you all are referring to has cycled down the list. Tag line would be helpful to find it.

Yeah I get in police chases all the time, they never catch me. This one time, I ripped the e brake and turned my car around and flipped off all the cops while driving in reverse, it was awesome.

You haven't seen the one from Ohio running in broad daylight? I think it was an S4 NA and it led them on a LONG *** chase around on/off ramps and tight turns. It was quite impressive! lol.
