Has anybody fixed their broken or messed up roof latch covers? Mine aren't broken or ripped off, just mangled & torn enough at the fold that they look awful. Any solutions people have come up with other than cutting them off or finding new ones?

I haven't seen a vert with those flaps intact in a long time. The top I pulled off a junkyard car last week had one of them, but the driver's side was missing, so I pulled the passenger side one off and left it in the car. I didn't really like the look of flaps on a convertible top, the latches aren't that ugly haha.

Meh, my passenger side one is fine save for a cosmetic tear at the fold - still has the magnets to keep it up and everything.
My driver's side doesn't stay up without the visor up to hold it there, and it sits crooked because of the vinyl material bunching up on the inside where it folds.
Seems a shame to take them out if they just need a little love! lol

I'm sure if someone were to either re-skin an old one, or make a new one with cloth instead of plastic, it would look much better. Of course that only works if you re-upholster the headliner with cloth as well.
