Talking 91 Turbo Vert Update

Been a while since I have been online so I figured I would post some pics of the work that has been keeping me occupied for the last month. The rain slowed me down alot as I had to work on the car outside, as well as locating parts in my small town. I relocated the battery to the trunk, installed the black magic e-fan, custom SS recovery tank, koyo radiator, redid and reharnessed all the wires in the engine bay, regrounded the motor, mild tune up, cleaned up the engine bay some, installed the new cd player, mounted the apexi 500r, removed the air bag and put on an old steering wheel from my last vert. let me know what ya think, or suggestions. in the mail now is my new crane cdi box hopefully coming in tomm or the next day. finding a place to mount that thing is going to be tricky.

By the way before anybody says anything about the intercooler piping, it is an old school HKS front mount and works just fine, yes i would love a greddy but the money is not worth it right this moment.

the brake booster and cylinder are next, they are rusted out and they must have leaked ruining the frame right under it as well

Mother Nature hasn't been cooperating with my days off - always seems to be cold, rainy, and nasty when I have time to work on it.

So far I am back to reassembling it and should have it running again soon.

- Ive removed the double throttle and ported the UIM
- Replaced the OMP lines
- Complete silicone vacuum hose job
- Ported wastegate on the stock twins
- Removed the stock downpipe / precat and replaced with a heat wrapped downpipe
- May install an Apexi Dual N1 Catback that I have - but I want the Racing Beat Dual Tip
- Fixed some of the interior broken plastics / cracked marker light / missing and peeling center caps
- New Tires

I also have a Power FC that I want to install - but I either have to buy an aftermarket Automatic Transmission Controller (about $900) or perform a 5 speed swap (already have a lot of the parts). I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

Yours is still going to be faster than mine when I get done with these mods and repairs.

and about fast i wish i could go a bit faster, i have the boost controller off and running just the wastegate, just for a while till i get more comfortable with the setup and the cold weather goes away. when the boost is turned up the oil blowby is terrible so i had to run some dummy vac hoses so it doesnt just spray the new radiator and e fan

I haven't taken any pictures of the FD actually.

Its been a jackstand queen for over a month now and I didn't plan on it taking so long to reassemble but everything under the UIM is crispy and shattered when I touched it.

I've spent a long time waiting on parts and weather.

As far as the blow-by I say install a cheap catch can and call it a day.

What are you using now for EMS?
