a few people have recomended buying a front clip for my swap, which would cost around 2500-3000 and thats without the rear end of course
so do you think it'd be better if i just got a blown TII and get a rebuild or should i get a front clip and rear end???

my car is an 88', so i was able to use either an 87' or 88' TII engine.
I would go with a blown engine and rebuild it just like i did.
Upgrade as much as you can/want while your engine is apart and on the hoist.
Get someone who knows what they are doing to rebuild your engine for you.
Definalty look into porting, dont go too big because reliablity becomes even worse the bigger the port!
The best idea if you have time is to find a parts car that you can use (specific year(s)) that has everything for your swap like how i did mine.
