17x10 +12 front wheels?
Is it possible to run 17x10 +12 on the front of my car?
I know I would definitley need some wide fenders, but would I run into any issues as far as clearance and drivability? The car does have/ will have coilovers and will be run probably 255/40 on all 4 corners
I checked that guide on fc3spro but it only goes up to 9" in the front
Thanks for any info!

with a 10 you will rub coilovers in the front. my 9.5's at the same size with a +15 offset are litterally on the ride height collars. 3mm of clearance won't make up for the .5" of inner lip that will be on your coil.
you need spacers like he's saying. you'd need a 25mm bolt on, and even then there's no way in hell you'll be able to fit a 255 up front with the "small" wide fenders available. you'd need a 45mm+ front fender.
FC's like 9's up front. 9.5s even. 10s are over kill. you can run a 9.5 with a lower offset, or a bolt on spacer, and use a softer compound front tire if you're going for the time attack thing - which im assuming you are.
with a 10 up front you also will be rubbing all sorts of chassis/LCA up front.
just food for thought

you would probably end up stretching on a smaller tire to clear the fenders which defeats the purpose of the 10inch wide wheels. so driftfcbuckey is right you might as well go for a smaller wheel. 10s are pretty overkill for up front

You do thw math, im fitting 18x9's +24 with no coilovers and only beating the upper part of the fender to make it not stick out, so i cant even say i rolled my fender. My math isnt great but 12mm is ~1in. So his rims would have .5in more clearance on the inside than my set

Even with 9's, a 255 will rub off most of the plastic trim under lock. The problem is magnified with wider wheels and lower offsets.

I am not too concerned about fenders at this point, as I will probably be purchasing a set of aftermarket wide ones, only being able to clear the frame and suspension components

[QUOTE=driftfcbuckey;10708334]anyone talking about fender liners needs to sit on the bench while the big boys fit wheels...
What tire size and offset are you running? looks dope
