Make sure you're not close to your oil change time/mileage.
Basic wrench&ratchet set if you're worried [8,10,12,14,17 3/8" drive]
But you should be fine if it doesn't normally have problems ^_^

Everyone's having pessimistic views, but really each time I've taken my FC on a road trip it's surprised me as to how well things hold together. It's only in town when things start going wrong for me

A clean empty jug or gal of distilled water if you think you might be in stop and go traffic... I-5 over here is good for that so I always have a gallon in car, not that I have cooling issues or coolant leaks but if I did it would be there.
lol @ these comment about pessimists! He asking what to bring "in case something happened" the tow dolly and spare car comments are funny.
+1 on cell phone and credit card but I might add 20 or 50 bucks cash on hand is nice to have too

and a fire extinguisher....
for the serious ones... Just make sure its in good working order before you leave, and address any potential problems. I wouldn't be worried at all unless its a hack job or super tired.

Something to keep you entertained!
I say this because I drove one of my FCs to So-Cal and back which is about that distance and it made it no problem at all... BUT I had no stereo or anything.. heck I didn't even have a passenger lol so yeah it kinda sucked.

If the car is in good working order, bring whatever you would bring for a 1300 mile road trip in any car. I always have a mini tool set and roadside emergency kit no matter what I'm driving.
This is not bought up. but get a good nights rest. pull over once and a while walk around, stretch. If you get tried pull over at a rest stop or gas station and take a nap. Do not try to push to hard. Look up the weather before you leave to be prepared. Sorry if you know this already, but since i am in the navy i get the same stuff before every big weekend.
