Talking 10 ae dyno run

We took the 10 AE down to Driftspeed today and got it dyno'ed, We pulled 217 HP at 5900 RPM and 197 lbft at 5600 RPM at about 10 psi on stock turbo and the mods you see in my SIG. Thats pretty darn good i think and for those who have talked to me before- the detonation problem is now gone.

Not really sure, i know the upgrades i want but dont know what power it would make- standalone fuel management(not sure what brand), BNR stage 2 turbo, injectors, and possibly wide band, and of course better cooling like a koyo radiator. I like the top mount intercooler though gonna keep that

Nice car dude, was that the stock original motor?

I should be dynoing my 10AE in a couple days, just had a bunch of stuff done, used to be 100% stock last week, but not anymore, haha.

-streetported s5 keg, with S6 rotors, 2pcs 2mm apex seals, internally ballanced
-racing beat turbo back
-Microtech lt8s
-Hybrid turbo (stock replacement) T04B 57trim compressor
-AEM meth kit
-RE amemiaya twin disc
-FD fuel pump
-innovate LC1 wideband and gauge.

so just a couple more things than what you are planning to do with your car. I'll let you know what kinda numbers I make and how much boost I run before my injectors run out of safe duty cycle range LOL... thats the next thing on my list. I cant wait!

Ya stock motor- 91000 miles. Cool that sounds like it should make some good power but im sure you will need injectors. Im done with my motor though i think but my turbo is cracked so i at least need a new turbo but car is plenty fast for a dd, want to start doin other mods now- seats, steering wheel, new windshield, and possibly wheels, but i know my motor should be goin somewhat soon so should start savin for that.

Anyone know a 1/4 mile time estimate for my setup and the power im making?

for the 1/4 mile time take into consideration that i do have a 12inch sub with a big ported box and still have full interior and spare tire=)

I ended up making 298whp @18psi with my new setup a couple days ago, on stock injectors!

I am running the largest jet in the AEM kit, straight meth injection, thats how I am able to do it, not to mention my IATs never saw over 20 degrees on the dyno.

If you want low end grunt and aresponsive turbo, I recommend something simular to mine, its making over 250 whp @ 3500 RPM

what kind of tire's / rims are you rocking? if your gonna be using the stock ae rims + some decent compound tires you should be able to get into the 14.2~14.5 range

my buddy with his stock s4 t2/ blown coolant seal + spare tire n all pulled a 14.7 with the stock rims wrapped with Eagle F1's
