thanks for the comments !

about the front blinkers, it should be a euro-spec thing

we don't have automatic seatbelts either, and we have a wider space for the rear license plate

they are very rare in France, probably less than 30 cars in the whole country, even less are in running condition. I've been on the search for about 3 years until I found this one wich I presume is somehow "clean"

it has about 100PSI compression (wich should be ok according FC3Spro)

I know it has that dirty fuel filter problem wich I'll take care of next week
and it probably has a temp sensor problem (car is starting well when cold or hot, but whenever it's neither cold or hot, it takes a tiny bit more time to start, but it allways did so far.

it has a few scratches (thanks photoshop) and dents, but nothing serious. and of course it has air conditionning, leather suits, electric windows and roof (I think it comes as standard) etc...

the plan is to get it "nurburgring ready", probably upgrade the suspension (something simple) buy a nice set of tires (maybe goodyear eagle F1 assymetric, I've heard they're cool on FR cars with similar weight, like beemer 3 series) and brake pads and I'll probably call it a day.

I also plan to restore it in it's original, new condition, body wise, probably redo some wiring and change a few sensors, filters etc... I want a new car.

in the mid term, I plan on changing the engine for a reinforced 13BT from hurley in UK

the car is presumed to be in original condition, other than the racing beat catback. I'm going to check but they're probably the Euro spec markers.

let me know the size of US license plates and I can check wether or not it's tall enough (^^)/

They should fit since I have both the S5 euro tails and the j-spec tails on my cars if you can get the center piece. The other difference between the two, is that the S5 euro tails have the red foglight so when you put the car in reverse only the right white one lights. When you light the foglight it shows in the idiot lights that is on.

the euro cars originally had no side markers, people would love to get the moldings over here without the side markers in them.

Im guessing someone added those to the fenders.

I also almost wonder if those are vert lights? Verts have a longer license plate section w/ key hole and shorter lights, maybe they are the same but without the keyhole center?

The circular side markers are stock Euro spec as are the front half / half turn signal lenses. Also notice the absence of a third high-mounted brake light.

A buddy of mine has a Euro dealer brochure for the S5s.

Nice car BTW!

Not too sure. Euro plates are wider and shorter. You can typically spot a european car simply by looking at the wider plate area.

For such a small thing, you'd think a manufacturer would just use the same exact parts for each car regardless of region. But such is the world and it doesn't work that way. I've read of 2nd gens with distributors from the factory (no CAS!). Side markers, FTP's, fog lights we know about are just a few of the things that seem to vary.
