i bet the housings are the same, but the diffuser is different, it is odd that they would have so many small changes that must have greatly increased production costs?

thanks for the comments, I definately love that car, it drives so well !!!

other than a few issues (as said, fuel filter and temp sensor) it's really perfect

I've often wondered that myself. Basically, the small changes reflect the differing regulations from country to country and region to region.

The high-mounted third brake light for example was specific to the US market (possibly Canada). As were the automatic "mouse" belts beginning in '89.
