I wanted to know what this part is for on the S5 harness that I don't have on the neiman S4 harness


can I put an S5 neiman on an S4 despite the lack of this part on the engine harness?

That's a micro switch for the key chime bell. When I last changed the ignition switch harness in my S5, I never mounted that switch. It's now just hanging there under the steering column. I cannot say with any certainty if there were any changes to the switch wiring harnesses between S4 and S5 models. Other than the key chime, my guess would be no.
