Vacume Leak???

So if I start my car itll go to 3000 rpm then drop off to around 1500. I recently tried to pull out my injectors to check them if they were stuck or leaking and in the midst of it I broke a couple vacume lines and check valves. I went to buy new vacume lines and replaced all the lines I had broken but i never added/replaced the check valves. I have zero clue where the check valves go and the diagrams are a pain in the *** to understand, does anyone have pictures of where they go also is it ok to run "run of the mill" check valves or do they have to be a specific choice.

I know the check valve on the right is for the upper intake to the throttle body.

Does it do that on cold start ups? That's normal. Is your idle smooth after it drops?
