Should I buy this 1988 Vert RX7?

I met the guy, saw the car, everything looks legit. What do you think?

RX-7 Convertible

Not having seen this particular car in person my quick answer is maybe yes, maybe no, although to my way of thinking 121,000 miles on the clock is somewhat excessive. I've owned an 1988 RX-7 since I bought it new in 1988 so I know a bit about this RX-7. My best advise is to have a mechanic you trust go over the car carefully before you try starting it. As previously pointed out any car that sat for 19 years is bound to have problems so don't fool around with it. Fuel injectors are especially expensive to replace as are other bits and pieces to those unfamiliar with this car. Hidden body repairs are always a concern - especially alignment and trapped rust behind body panels. So a word to the wise - don't let your heart get in front of your mind - know what your getting into beforehand!
