Severe bucking/shuddering when accelerating

Hey all, when I drive my rx7, when I take off, I let the clutch out, it's pretty smooth. As soon as I add throttle, if it's not very light, it starts to buck back and forth. Just bounces back forth. I have driven some manual cars before and they did this to a very small degree, but never this bad. I can smooth it out if I'm really smooth on the gas. It's also kinda funny that when it happens you can't keep your foot still so it does it more - although I'm not sure how normal this is. One thing I know is that one of my trans mounts is pretty shot. I think it could be that, but I'm not sure. Image attached. Also video of the behavior attached. Thanks!

Pulsation dampener bucking

Hi,
In my limited experience I found out that without a pulsation dampener, the fuel flow from the injectors will go up and down slightly due to the pulses of the fuel injectors themselves.

Like any hydraulic system, when it shuts down creates a pulse that goes throughout the system. Think water hammer in a home radiator system.

Check your pulsation damper for proper functioning?

Interesting - I currently have a pulsation damper and it isn't leaking - but in my garage I have a banjo bolt to remove it due to the fire risk, which I'm not wanting to deal with. I really doubt it's that though, I feel it's something with my driveshaft joints or transmission mounts, not something like an FPD. It doesn't do this in any other scenario except when pressing on the gas pedal or releasing it. I'll let you know my results after replacing my trans mount bushing and removing the fpd.

I found the issue! It was a bit simpler than I expected. The clutch slips - but for a weird reason. My slave clutch cylinder was not working right - I felt it with my hand and could push it a LOT farther to engage it more than when the pedal was all the way out already. Very simple, $15 part.
