picked this shell up a few months ago as a roller. I swapped in a S4 block I had, wiring up a Holley Red to feed a 48 Ida Weber with direct fire ignition. Hoping to have it under its own power within a week or so.

made some minor progress. Scooped up some parts at O'Reilly's, started to make list of what I have/need.


got some air stacks,rebuild,regulator/gauge and fuse block.



got some used coils for my direct fire mod, new plugs and pads

I worked at O'reillys for a few years as a commercial manager. I convinced my regional manager to allow me to add a few sku's into our system. My former store carries Fel Pro 12a gasket sets, carburetor rebuilds kits, bushings etc... (at all times )

 

small update: I bought a 12a distributor locally from CL but it was junk
I am currently bidding on one through eBay . I started prepping the ignition coil for the direct fire mod. Hopefully I can begin running some of my wiring in the next few days.

 

small update: found a local seller with two distributors in WORKING condition I had a old friend reach out to me an offer me a 91 Turbo ii in exchange for a commercial sized air compressor I own. I don't have any space for another vehicle but I am in dire need of parts. Will attempt to harvest the parts I need to finish this car and will sell the rest. I will keep you guys updated once I have the t2 in my possesion.
