Roll Cage dimensions for FC
Hi all! I'm planning on doing a bolt on roll cage for my project FC. The only problem is, I have no idea about what kind of roll cage I should do.
Does any one have any suggestions, pictures, measurements, etc. that could spark my fire and get into business.
Edit: The roll cage doesn't have to pass any racing standards. The car is most propably going to be used for ice-track, so the cage will be there just to protect me from losing my head.

Or you can buy one from a company with a long history of making cages. Take a look at their website for roll cage types. 86-92 Mazda RX7 Roll Bars & Roll Cages | Autopower Industries
I realize you are in Europe, but I suggest just paying shipping cost and taxes. The time and effort to design it yourself could be better spend working on other things/driving the car. Also, I'm sure there are plenty of competent roll cage fabricators up your way due to the popularity of rallying.

Thanks for the link, I've been checking out the exact same page a couple of days ago.
I know that trying to desing the cage myself is going to take some time, but the project is going to progress along when I have spare money and other assets to spend.
I'm trying to spend the big bucks on my other FC that's actually in really good condition.
The manufacturing of the cage is going to done at a local metal shop, and they can do it pretty cheap compared to buying a finished cage.
PS. early measurements have been made and I've been doing some raw scetches, will be posting those to this thread to get your oppinions.

Id recommend looking at Autopower. In fact i plan on installing the 6point cage by next week.
However if it is just for ice, more importantly, maybe the primary focus should be on body rigidity.
