Omp delete to premix on s4

Very recently, i noticed my omp isnt sending oil to the block. I can very well see that there is no oil moving through the lines. I was thinking about doing a omp rebuild and maybe even replacing the thermo pellet with one from atkins for more flow. But after researching, I've come to think that premixing is the solution to my problem.

as I've come to see, omp deletes are a very large controversy. Some say its good, some say its bad. Personally, i am not worried about the cost of 2 stroke oil. Neither am I against the idea premixing every time i get gas. I dont plan on doing any power mods to my s4 any time soon, so why not premix? Why rebuild the omp? I want to hear the logic in this. Ive seen previous posts about omp deletes and they're all so uneducational. So please, inform my why i should or shouldn't get rid of the factory omp? Cost differences? Long term performance/engine life? fuel system? Ignition? Id love to hear what you say.
