Mop problems

I drove the car about an hour drive down the highway mostly, ran perfect. Sometime in there I stalled it and it didn’t want to restart, just clicking from the starter relay. Messed around with the starter and away it goes again. Get almost home and I stop to drop something off and I get out on the road, open up the throttle and it chokes out and dies. I look under the hood and the front secondary injector is unplugged and the ground from the transmission to firewall is off (the ground was probably me I was messing around in that area). I plugged those in and went to roll it back into someone’s driveway. Once I got into the driveway I bump started it in reverse and it ran perfect. I made it about 2 miles when it lost power and went into limp mode with a cel on. I stopped, and the code it flashed was for the mop stepper motor. After that it drives fine but every once in a while usually around 4k low load cruising it brings back the cel and goes into limp mode. If I cycle the key it’s fine again until it gets unhappy. As per the fsm the resistance of the mop tests out fine, I’m going to check wire continuity later.

My question is, has anyone had a similar problem or know something to look for?

also, do these omp lines look fine, the car has been sitting for about 4 days and I noticed the one is starting to empty.

I assume that might be the issue, the stepper motor still turns freely and has the right resistance but if I had to guess they don’t come cracked like that if anyone has one for sale lmk.

Sorry to see about your troubles.

Just a FYI. Multiple times you called this a mop instead of a omp. Change your title to "omp" not mop. You might get a few more readers.

At least i found what it was, yeah autocorrect really hates omp and keeps trying to change it. Do you have any idea how to change the thread title?

I forgot that this site locks you out from editing your post after some time has passed. I would assume that you can't just buy the motor, not ideal but you could just delete it and figure out what to do with premix, ECU and the block off plate. Also, I read somewhere since the pump moves so slowly, when reconnectiong the OMP, run premix. There is a defined period of time too to do it. I just can't seem to remember the time. I think that I read it on a post about replacing the lines with stainless.
