Injector diffuser plate in lim

I was cleaning the carbon deposits out of my lower intake manifold with a wire brush and accidentally broke a small circular plate that is suspended to be in the center of the manifold cast. After looking at it more I assumed that it was a sort of diffuser plate for when fuel is sprayed into the manifold so it is even. Is this part necessary or should I replace it? Where could I find this part if I do need to replace it? Thanks!!

Edit: found out it is called mixing plate and Atkins sells them although quite expensive for such a small part

Which manifold were you cleaning? The one that attaches to the engine or the one that attaches to the one that attaches to the engine. The lower attaches to the engine but I don't remember it having any circular plates in it as the primary injectors are in the center iron. The secondaries are in the upper intake that attaches to the lower and has the air bleeds which do resemble a disk and are plastic and broken easily. Either way Mazdatrix has both the primary and secondary air bleeds.

INJECTOR AIR BLEED PRIMARY, 89-92 ALL BOTTOM | Mazdatrix
INJECTOR AIR BLEED SECONDARY, 89-92 ALL | Mazdatrix

The car is a 89 gtu so it is NA s5. The manifold I was cleaning was the middle one. Same one that houses the VDI and secondary injectors. Not the one with 6pi. The FSM shows the mixing plate at the bottom of the injector assembly so I guess while I removed the injectors the plate stayed. Thanks for the links! I’ll take a look and see if it’s less than atkins
