Intake manifold blocking plate?

I was wondering If the separate holes are allowed to communicate. Im going to TIG weld the aluminum plate to the manifold. Do i need to make a gasket of some type to keep the holes separated? Can i just weld the plate on? -Thanks
By the way-This is for a 12A

I think it would be better to make a gasket and bolt it on. That way if you ever change your mind it's not welded on. The bolts are 20mm long M6x1.00.

round one goes to the exhaust

the at least one of the others go to the intake, its really easy to check it...

i wouldn't weld the plate on, just bolt it.
