Idle unstable

I recently hooked up a new battery. Once running the idle goes up and down fluctuating around 1000-1200 rpm. See below attached. Is this a timing issue?

That looks and sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Any chance you bumped a vacuum line and knocked it loose?

Thanks. I’ll check the vacuum lines. Do you know of any mechanics in the Ft. Pierce Treasure Coast area?

20+ years of idling answers on this forum from some legends. Search using google and rx7club. Long story short it's gonna say Vacuum leak (use starting fluid to find), tps test, and throttle body adjustment (we have a very busy throttle body. Not to mention if you've ripped off your bac and other things it's gonna haslve idle issues too. Battery is gonna be unrelated.

Check the things mentioned but I seem to recall at around 1100 rpm the ecu advances timing which can cause a bouncing idle at that point.

Someone chime in if my memory has failed me.
