Idiot Lights Connected to Convertible Top Fuse?

Idiot Lights Connected to Convertible Top Fuse?
I have a 88 Convertible. The fuse for the convertible top keeps blowing and when it does the idiot lights no longer work until I replace the fuse. Any ideas?
