225/50r16 clearance question.
Hello,
I've got 16x7 +38 rims on a 4 lug N/A car . . . Has anybody put 225/50r16 tires on a 4 lug N/A before. . .. .I'm pretty certain they will fit the rear, but it's the front inside strut clearance I am concerned about. . . .I am using KYB AGX's .
I have heard running coil-overs sometimes gives more clearance on the inside.
Finding hub-centric spacers that place the tires out 5 mm's might help but they are hard to find with 4 lug, 60.1 counter bore.
I am currently running 215/50r16's, and they are newer, and I like that size, but it seems the industry just stopped making that size. . ..I have been running that size for some time and although my car will still smogg with them on, having nowhere to go for a replacement kinda stinks.
There are a lot of options in the 225/50r16 size. . .
Thanks in advance.
