Hi, what do people think is best out of the 3 intercooler setups? I have a vmount setup for the car currently, but I would rather not run a vented hood as im not a fan of the look/fitment of most vented hoods. Does vmount work correctly without vented hood? Or am i better to go fmic, or tmic?

 

you might try blocking the hood vents and see what it does. plenty of people running the HKS/Greddy V mounts in FD's with no real issue.
the top mount is nice because its got its own duct, i think size of the IC would be a limiting factor
a front mount can work too, but there is a lot of piping, and you might have problems with it being in front of the radiator/oil coolers (serious JDM FC's run oil coolers like an FD, on the sides)
