FD Engine into FC

Hi all! Looking for a new engine for my FC, and found someone selling a turbo engine for 2k, not bad I thought, however i looked a wee bit further, and found someone selling an FD shortblock, with twins, inlet manifold, and an abundance of other parts for 1,500. This would be beneficial for me as I'm looking at the T04s kit for the FD3S, and was wondering how the wires, plugs etc would go into an FC chassis. I've done swaps with Roadsters many times with wiring being the re occurring problem. Any info would be appreciated, thank's all.

just rebuild the engine in the car you have now. will be WAY cheaper than getting the 3rd gen engine in there.

i dont have an engine to put into my RX7. I am restoring it and it needs an engine, so a mount kit for the fd engine is 335 pounds roughly, and engine 1,500. A turbo 2 engine is a unicorn in the uk, so this could be my ONLY option.

Easy swap if you buy the mounts and run a stand alone ecu, which should be done anyways if you plan on running a T04S on a FC.

check out mine, https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...e-car-1143382/

basically none of the FD stuff fits, and you need to modify a few things. it can be done, in California its becoming viable because you can buy parts for it, it passes smog and it makes more power, i'm on my second one.

the challenges are wiring, but unlike the miata we actually have diagrams, the IC pipes, ac/ps are hard, etc
