Okay, since the FC only has a single turbo and the engine doesn't overheat asmuch as an FD
Can you BAG on an FC harder then you could on an FD before the FC engine blows??
Or do each engines handle the same amount of crazy driving.

Okay There is so much stuff to read, not much points exactly on this.
I wanto know if an FC engine can handle harder driving or last longer then an FD motor
will FC be more reliable??

Okay, Will the FC hold up longer then the FD??
I'm curious because I love both vehicles, I wanto purchase a vehicle for a time to time driver.
I will also have this vehicle for tack use * i'll keep it mostly stock * however will be driving on the track a few times a week.
If the FC won't last any longer driving hard a few times a week then an FD Ill go with teh FD
if the FC will last longer due to single turbo * less over heating problems *
I'll go with the FC.
I know I should search however, what do I search?? which threads will come up with these exact questions??

Yes I understand about how much money, maintanence, tuning, and time these vehicles take.
However I am not aware how well they will last heads up against each other one on one, both driving at the same intensity,
will one engine give out first.
scenario
FC bran new rebuild, aftermarket radiator aftermarket bov aftermarket wiring harness.
Up against FD exact same engine specs as stated above!
they both give it just as hard, will the FC last longer?? due to less overheating
or will ragging on both vehicles kill them the same.

I will answer your question...
The FC can be "bagged" on harder than the FD in stock form, simply because there's less power--which equals less stress on the drivetrain components.
An aftermarket radiator is a good idea, but isn't a true necessity with near stock power-levels (for both the FC and FD). An aftermarket BOV is also useless on a near-stock Rx7, as is an aftermarket wiring-harness (really pointless unless your stock one was hacked up or burned-up in a fire).
Both the FC and FD engine are prone to overheating if not cared for properly. An aftermarket coolant temp. gauge is a good mod to do, at any time.
I don't really know *exactly* what you're asking, because comparing the FC to the FD is really like comparing apples to oranges. A decent Turbo II FC can be found for around $3500 US or so, but in Canada they tend to go for more. However a decent FD can be had for around $13k US--and I have no idea how much they cost in Canada.
Before you buy one, read the FAQ for both the 2nd gen. Rx7 and the 3rd gen.

ok........seriously...........both cars will last as long as you change the oil every 2000-2500 miles and you do the right mods...........an intercooler for both FD and FC will always relieve the heat issue, making sure the AST is in good shape is a must in the FD, and just taking good care of the car, ESPECIALLY after being driven hard will ensure the car lasts...making sure you have enough fuel and a way to make sure you don't spike are lso important.
As far as which car is the best? It all depends on who's talking and how ignorant they really are. Both are good cars that will break if not taken care of.

just by reading i see the FC's and FD's are close but the fc's last longer...
look at it his way:
how old are the fc's???

you see almost equal of the 2 blowing up but their is such a difference in years that its proof upon itself!!
