At some point in my cars life someone installed an FD ALT, what I don't understand is why the white and black wire off the two wire connector is cut and just hanging there. they only had it wired to the battery and then grounded off the ear of the alternator to the strut tower. does this mean they wired the igniton switch to something else?? or am I loosing my mind here haha. The car did run and it did charge so I know it was wired "correctly" enough to work. If anyone has any ideas as to why this wire would be cut or how they wired this thing up id greatly appreciate the help.
