A few years ago I designed some mounts to add 2 Hella 500 fog lights to my FC. This made a massive improvement in light while driving at night. I also think they look pretty good as well.

The way I designed them, they fit into factory holes in the bumper beam and stick out through the factory grill openings. I am able to install them from the top without removing the bumper cover.

I was considering making a few more sets of mounting brackets and throwing them up on eBay if there is enough interest. I am looking for your guys feedback on if this is something that the FC community would be interested in.

Note this was for my 1987 S4 NA, I am not sure if the holes I used changed throughout the years.

I know this is an old thread. But did you ever decide to make more of these? If not, can you share your design? I kinda wanna do this to mine!

it's not just the age of the thread. if you click on the user's name and check the profile, it will tell you when they last logged in. in this case, it was 5 years ago. it's very possible he's still around, but i'm not sure how likely, so i wouldn't put too much hope in a response from him.

that said, there are a few members here that run Rally and RallyCross. off the top of my head, i can think of Peejay, Fidelity101 and Whizbang. if this thread proves to be a dead end, then maybe one of them can point you in a fruitful direction.
