The hanger is welded to the Y pipe, it is not a separate part. Looks like I will have to try and unbend it and find a way to secure it to the pipe! This is a Racing Beat Y pipe, which is in great shape other than the hanger.
When I reinstall the exhaust system I am going to primer and paint all the flanges then apply nickel anti-seize lubricant to all the nuts and bolts so that it can be disassembled without too much trouble. It will be worth the time and effort.
as you've noticed Mazda welds that to the Y pipe, but my HKS setup its not, it just relies on the studs to stay in place.
its probably easiest to un-bend and re weld yours, but if you did have to make one, its actually something any muffler shop can do
you can try 35242 walker bracket. it can be welded on or held with a exhaust clamp. i am pretty sure that is the one i used years ago when mine broke. you may have to heat and bend slightly to fit correctly.

Thanks for the advice, I will go to a muffler shop with part in hand. Let's see how much they charge these days!
