Clutch pedal stays on floor

my clutch pedal stays on the floor in my 88 vert rx7. I can lift and push it down by hand. It doesn't come back up by itself. I just replaced the slave cylinder and I know the master cylinder is ok. There is no pressure in the pedal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would ensure that there are no leaks in the rubber line between cylinder and then double check the system has been properly bled after cylinder replacement. I've had the rubber line spring leaks on me before and lead to that behavior.

The "bleed" screw on the side of the master cylinder. Check the FSM available here Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals
