So I searched around and can't find a definitive answer. Alot of maybe and probably. I have a 1990 GT-X which is a RHD model. I read the stock ecu's for both cars are different. That being said I want more management over my car. Would I be able to use the Apexi Power FC for the 92-95 FD (414-Z007) with the Banzai Racing harness adapter in my RHD car? Also would it be safe to buy a used ECU and OLED Commander? Where would the best place be to find one? Thanks all in advance!

 

Plugs right into your car. Used electronic parts are always a gamble, never know what you will get

 

if you buy a commander at all, you for sure want a new one.

i rolled my own harness adaptor, and i learned that you should just buy the Banzai one, lol
mine ended up costing almost the same, and took way longer.

 

There’s a guy on the power fc engine management forum who repairs power fc’s and is located in Canada in case repairs are needed. I have a friend who has recently sent his power fc to him a few weeks ago.

 

Would the Op still need to wire in an additional fc trailing coil igniter or whatever that part is when doing a fd power fc install on a usdm car? I believe Banzai has a write up on their website for install procedures.

Just some food for thought of additional items needed.
