Another cold start thread

So I’ve read through a bunch of different threads regarding idle whether it be cold, warm, at a red light etc, but I can’t really find anything that’s calling out what I’m experiencing. On cold starts specifically I’ll start my car, it’ll turn over and jump to about 1400 rpm and then over the course of like 5-10 seconds slowly drop into the car stalls. Continue this process until the car hits around 20C water temp or start again and hold my foot on the gas keeping rpm above ~1500 until water temps hit 20C and she’ll idle just fine. Any help is supper appreciated as I’ve been dealing with this since I picked it up from customs a year ago.

There is a LOT of info on this topic in this forum. Bad, disconnected or corroded water thermo sensor. Thermo wax not adjusted properly. Weak battery, starter or corroded connections. Low compression. Low fuel pressure etc etc.

Time to get the multimeter out and start testing. Good luck!
