personally i would not go any lower than 2.5 because the AFM inlet is 2.5 and outlet is 3 inches... i would not use any piping smaller than the inlet on the AFM, it is a big difference when you go from small to larger piping than from larger to smaller piping... just my opinions feel free to correct me

i used my cold start assist tank and motor for my washers, since i hardly ever use it i figured the small quantity would be plenty

ill say thanks again....

this is the best setup i think....

not only because it gets cold air, looks good.....but its cheap....i got the kit off ebay for $40 shipped to my house....all hoses, couplers, pipes, clamps.....everything

Good write up


That's exactly what I'll be doing to make my CAI this weekend when I finally have time to put it together, only difference is that I'll be using slightly different piping.
