Running Wheels W/O Hub-centric Rings
Well, I got a set of Racing Hart C2s. I bought them used and they didn't come with any hub-centric rings. Is it safe to run them without hub-centric rings or should I stop being a lazy bitch and order those rings? The seller mentioned that he had hub-centric rings but they didn't fit FCs(probably wasn't FC specific) so he just ran the wheels w/o them and didn't have problems. Would it be bad to not have hub-centric rings if I were to push my car hard a lot? Thanks a lot in advance

It's best to have them, but not mandatory. If you put your wheels on the car without them and start to experience a vibration even though the wheels are balanced, I'd say then you probably will need them.
But they are only a few bucks, so yes... stop being a lazy bitch and buy some!

Since the wheels have conical lugnut seats, and therefore each seat must be concentric with it's respective stud, it follows that the wheel itself will be concentric with the hub. So I don't think you need them.

You need them. I took mine off when i replaced the bushings and somehow the rings did not make it back on. I have conical lug nuts and that doesnt hold the wheel concentric. When you dont have the rings, the weight of the car is supported on the studs instead of the hub. they might not vibrate when going straight but try doing a full lock turn. Trust me they will vibrate.

It's much simpler to just make the wheel hubcentric so that the hub centers the wheel; you're only dealing with one hole instead of five at that point. The other advantage to this is that the studs don't have to support the weight of the car.
