Red face Where to get a 3-rotor.

Alright...I'm new to this sight and new to the world of RX-7s. I've always loved them, but never thought I'd own one, until recently. Both me and my best friend got one, but last night he blew his engine. It may not be completely blown, but we don't have enough experience with the rotory engine to know for sure what it would take to get it going and it doesn't look too promising.

I'm going to buy his from him more than likely, maybe for parts, maybe to rebuild, but I would really like to rebuild it. I would hate to see an RX go to waste...as I'm sure all of you feel the same on. I do not, however want to put the original 2-rotor back into it. My best friend says the only place I can get the 3-rotor is Canada and Australia, and not that I mind road trips, but does anybody know where I could get one in the states or more specifically in Canada? Or does anybody have any suggestions period?

I'm just a young gun with a tight budget, so I appreciate the advice very much!
Thanks.

A 3 rotor conversion will cost you ATLEAST $10,000. So you can forget it if you are on a tight budget. Do yourself a favor, read the FAQ do a few searches, ask questions in threads related to your problems/question. This has been talked about a lot. In fact, there's an entire section of the forum dedicated to this. All you had to do was a little bit of searching.

Before you get angry and saying you didn't know, go back to where all the threads are and there is a sticky for ALL NEW PEOPLE. If you didn't see that then you suck at the internet.

Good luck finding a good 20b in Ontario Canada. I called 5-6 places that i deal with and no one had a 20b instock and didn't know when they could get another one. One place got me one from japan that was blown and it took them 3 month to find it.
