What plugs do you run in your 20B?

Just wandering what plugs you guys recommend. The ones that were in the Cosmo when I bought it are NGK's SD10A and SD11A marked L and T. Are these the factory specified plugs? I assume most are just running BUREQ's? What else?

Mine had regular old FC BUR7EQ L and BUR9EQ T. I guess the previous owner didn't want to spend a fortune on BUR6EQs or something.

You think 10's and 11's are a bit too cold? Maybe that's why I'm getting really shitty fuel economy.

You should use the following for normal Cosmo driving....

BUR6EQ.............Leading
BUR8EQ.............Trailing

If you want to give it a hard time regulary then go up a range to the same as the FD RX-7 (92-02)

BUR7EQ.............Leading
BUR9EQ.............Trailing

SD10 & SD11 are way too cold, foul up & give you grief for normal traffic conditions. Plus, they are a **** plug by comparison

You can get the 7/9 combo from a Mazda dealership. If you don't quote the correct part number they will try to sell you the platinum version at double the price.

Part#... N34318110 = Leading
Part#... N34218110 = Trailing

If you want the 6/8 combo, then you have to order them through an NGK spark plug stockest such as "Supercheap"

Mine came with HKS F45RE plugs. Don't know how good/bad they are as I'm not running yet.

Depends on how much boost you run. I use stock mazda (ngk) 7s leading and 9s trailing @$7.13 each. I only run 10psi.
