An original 20b post

Nothing to do with I am thinking of installing a 20b...how much hp....

How about a 3 rotor show & shine? The event would be open to anything with 3 or more rotors.

The information exchange at this kind of event would be priceless. I know that there are some very nice 3 rotors out there (mine include ). I live in Bermuda, my car lives part in Texas/Nevada.

sorry, didn't complete the post. While I live in Bermuda, having a meet in the central US would make sense...

It's a great idea. Location would be a problem, though. With the possibility of St. Louis, I don't know of any large, centrally-located RX-7 club. And I don't know of any 20Bs in that area. Also, a central location makes it equally inconvenient for everyone, which would hold down attendance.

With that said, I'll offer a modified proposal. Each year, there is a Rotary Expo hosted by the Mazda Sportscar Club of Washington, D.C. There is an equivalent event on the West Coast. (I'm having a senior moment and forgetting the name.) Both events draw a large number of Mazda/RX-7/rotary folks and get support from Mazda of North America, as well. A multi-rotor gathering could piggyback on either or both.

However such an event could be put together, it would be a lot of fun.

I would love to come down for seven stock it would be
a long drive from canada though
not sure if i would want to make the trek with a 20b
that i know nothing about, i might be wise to put
that kind of trip off until i have my new motor built...
so that would mean maybe next year....

You might be wise to trailer the car. Although the RXX-7 has been remarkably reliable, so far, I'd be reluctant to head for California in it. 20B mechanics and parts are probably in short supply in Kansas, and I'd hate to spend a week somewhere west of Topeka hoping that the Fedex guy could find me.

454 crew cab truck? Go with the Dodge H.O. Cummings diesel. Hows 555 ft lbs torque at only 1,400 rpms and 17 mpg (while towing)on the hwy grab ya?

I drove mine from NY to Nevada, raced it, then it went to Texas for a single turbo....don't know if it was was a good idea in hindsight but it worked!

I might make it out for sevenstock...
