Updates / Cosmo Parts FS
Hehe.. I know it has been a few months since I have updated anyone on my projects. Well, it has been a few months since anything has progressed! It turned out my first cosmo front clip had no compression on the middle rotor. After months of battle with the company, I finally received a replacement clip this week! This one was much more complete (fenders, head lights, bad-a** motorized steering wheel, instrumentation, etc). This one runs on all 3 rotors, so I finally began dismantling the clip. Everything I am pulling off is up for grabs, except for the instrument console -- which has to be the coolest looking Vacuum Tube Flourescent dash I have ever seen! This is the E-CCS model, so it has all the gadgets. I was drooling the whole time I was removing parts.
At this point, I am not sure which car I am even going to install the engine into since I have to sell more stuff once again
Over the next few weeks I am going to simplify the harness, and remove the automatic while keeping the engine running on the stock ECU. I am 90% sure I am going to use my 6/12 TEC III on this, but it won't hurt to have the stock setup working as well. I am sure I won't post for quite some time, but if anyone wants really cool cosmo parts, PM me! Oooh! I also found 2 japanese parking tickets under some dash trim. That's enough to make me happy for a week!

I'll take your coil packs.
Oh, and if you want, send a PM to a guy that goes by NOW. He has his 20b running on the stock ECU with the auto tranny working. He may be able to provide you with some info to get you started... from his posts, it seemed to be a REAL pain to get as far as he did....

I will be running it on my TEC III (when I have a car available to install it into again). It runs fine with the auto tranny, but I am going to get it running without the auto for the good of humanity! It would make the swap much more palatable for others. Maybe node will stop by again and take some pictures/video for you guys -- the two clips are sitting in a bay nose to nose. Yummy.

Oh, someone yanked the emblems before it made it to me
And I will not be selling any engine electronics at the moment -- just stuff from the cosmo itself. Not looking for much, just someone who can use it!
