Triple mod?
Has anyone one this forum Built a Triple from 13b parts?
I have been thinking about it for a while but was'nt prepared to run a PP Triple as i thought it would produce very little bottom end power?
I have not had any Experiance with PP engines and being my first PP engine want to get as much information as possable before i comit myself to building it.
Thanks.......Chris

First of all, a PP engine isn't practical for the street, so I hope you are building a track-only car. Yes, a PP has very little low end power, but this is not much of a factor on a race car, although the rotary-powered race cars have a resulting torque disadvantage which hurts them coming out of the corners.
Here is a web site with a 3-rotor made from 13B parts:

And here is a web site with a custom PP 3-rotor:

I am hearing lots of Conflicting storys on the PP option.
I have been told from people that run PP engines that done correctly (with the port as high up the Housing as possable to help Overlap) and have as little restriction as possable it the Turbo/Exhaust and it will behave better than a full bridge, but its all about keeping the gas speed up (fuel/air and exhaust)
But i have also heard that a PP gives stupid amounts of over lap which killes the low end power dead, the mpg goes very low and all the power is developed very high up the rev range.
But when all is said and done i am sure its down to how big the ports are, where in the housings they are, the size of the runners going to the ports and the Turbo selection.
