TPS and 20B Q

TPS and 20B Q

Hey guys,

Can anyone confirm if the tps in the pic is the right one?I am getting some weird readings from the microtech....

I get wierd reading off of mine also, 1.36V 0% to 3.97v 100% throttle. I configured the ecu to accept this range with no problems.

I think you got it mounted upside-down?
We got ours with the plug pointing down and back under the UIM.
I'd be scared with all those coils right next to your TPS wiring!

I have mine just like that and its work fine, make sure the wiring configuration is correct.
Go to screen 30 and calibrate it.

I would redirect the wires away from the coils just like RETed said.

The tps is mounted that way up as stock in the Cosmo. Getting reading of 0.35v to 3.77v on mine.

20b tps

Thank you guys for your replies,i have calibrate the tps ,the ltx12 says ( idle) at idle but when i slighty touch the throttle goes from 0% to 35% or 40% is that right? i am going to redirect the wires from the bosch coils.......

Cablibrate the TPS on the LTX with ign. on (key on, not with motor running),a * should appear on the screen when its cabilrated, handset should go from 0% to 99%. (well thats what my two do)

the cosmo is like the fd, there is a narrow and a full range tps in the one little box. you might be plumbed into the narrow range
