Time for a proper Introduction........

I figured it was time to make a proper introduction my name is Oly and I have been in the rotary scene for nearly 9 years (started at 18), and I have had several 450-600+ whp 13b setups during those years.......

Recently I had the opportunity to get into the 20b game and jumped all over it

Car Specs:

1993 Montego Blue FD with only 45,000 orignal km
Fully streetported and refreshed C code 976 block
GT42R T6 Turbo-custom built manifold
5"downpipe into a full 4" stainless custom exhuast with magnaflow muffler
Custom V-mount intercooler/radiator setup
Twin oil coolers with built in fans
Microtec lt-12
aem water/meth kit
excedy triple plate
3.9 gears
etc, etc, etc

The car is currently making 550whp @ 10 psi still on break in....

I would like to thank Marko from Forcefed Racing and his crew for all there hard work and passion behind the build, and for giving me the opportunity to have a hands on approach to the entire process

Cheers!

Hmmm intersting approach on the V-mount (less heat soak with the rad on top). I don't see much angle on the radiator. You using a long narrow IC?

Oh yea, you ever find that dyno sheet?

T-von, I had a customer a few years back who I help with making a V-mount with the radiator on top, I know at that time we/he wasn't the first they can work well when fitted right usually the issue being the radiator size needing to be what it is. I have another idea that I think lends itself even better than a V-mount, just never got around to making it, I did post a pic of it up a few years back.

550whp@10psi is doable with the right setup we never had any problem getting over 500@10psi with literally just cleaning ports up no changes to timing.

Water temps and air temps are wicked! Best part is the oil coolers with built in fans probably the best mod to keeps on top of the oil temps. The intercooler has a 4" core, its a big cooler!

Dont worry I will post a dyno sheet, have not had the chance to get to the shop--regardless I think its going to make a touch more power at that boost level once the motor gets broken in for a few thousand km secondly the plan is to run 14-15 psi so thats the whp number Im looking forward too

I just love seeing these kinds of numbers at such a low boost.

Zero even though I'm NA, I keep thinking of different ways to go with a V-mount set-up if I ever turbo my 20b. Living in the HOT south, cooling will be the very important.
