They seemed to be the exxact same size if I remember correctly, but I'm sure Reted will let you know for sure.

Im running a 100mm accufab.

I have also used a FD TB on a std 20b manifold, I just had to block off the bottom port in the manifold.

The fd and 20b tb's have the same bore size and bolt pattern.
The only real difference is that the 20b has the second set of secondary butterflies like a TII tb when the fd tb has only one set.
If you use the 20b tb, it is a good and simple upgrade to remove the second set.

For the guys that use the Accufab throttle body's do you open up the plenum or leave it alone? Any pictures if possible?

Mine is completly gutted. All we have to do is have the bottom section of the plenum welded back on.

Here's a pic of one i've been working on. It needs to be smoothed up a little and the bottom half put back on. My roommate is going to use it now. I decided to ditch the q45 tb and modified plenum.

good girl!! That plenum still needs a bit of work to make it useable. Just gotta smooth the edges out and re weld and its good to go.

I know this is an old thread, but trying to decide what TB to go with.

Those running the Accufab 90mm TB, assuming its the Ford.

What part number are you using?

What modifications did you do to make it work?

Thanks for any help

It needs an adaptor in between the throttle body and manifold.

Is the 90mm Accufab actually 90mm at the plate? Because as far as I know, the Q45 is 90mm at the inlet only. Still not a bad choice in TB's though.
