Waste of money if you ask me. For the price you pay for a 20B (3 rotor) install you can have much more power on the 13B (2 rotor)

Definitely to much money, but you cannot have more power on 13b than 20b, never in hell.
Can you have more power on a single rotor than a 13b?.......

What i meant was, if you put as much money into a 13B as it costs to install a 20B you will have a lot more power under the hood. Which would probally include a single turbo

Don't you think that price is about 25 to 30k over exagerated? Then again I guess it all depends on the amount of mods you want to have done. I guess like every new rx-7 owner, as soon as you hear about the 20b you want one...then you find out what's involved and the price tag that goes along with it then you realize that the 13b is just the right motor for you. The 13b power is definately underestimated at times.

I say you should go for the 20b install and let us know how it goes and how much it cost you

the engine itself really isn't that expensive... but getting a shoehorn big enough to squeeze it into the FD is what costs so much money... but like scrub said, for that amount of money, you might as well get a brand new ported 13b and upgrade everything

A guy in N. Florida did all the work himself and showed up at the Rotors vs. Pistons world finals in Gainesville with a running 3 rotor conversion. Cost? Once he's done, he's estimating $15K tops. Stock tranny and differential.
