Exclamation Semi bridge or semi street????? Need help!!!!

im doing a semi pp something but need help. I originally wanted to go semi pp / Bridgeport (not Jport) but alot of people have started to tell me to go semi pp/ streetport my question is why? they really never told me a reason only reason they told me was bridgeport is oldschool or just saying semi pp streetport is a better flow on rpms. I just love the sound of a semi pp bridgeport & think i can produce alot more power but i need everyones help on this from experience & actual reasons please.

You want to do a semi pp and bridge?
I will never go bridge. Id rather scallop and semi P Port. Ive never been a fan of risking my motor to a bridge that may fall even though its not very common.
What are your goals?

I would go with a large street semi p port, with S4 turbo rotors scalloped, clearance, lightened and balanced.

i think that was supposed to read FAIL.

when i saw your thread in the Racing section, i assumed that you were building a race-only engine, so i didn't comment simply because i had no experiences to contribute. i've only known of Ito's setup using the bridges with the semi-pp, but he ran N/A. i don't know how it would react to turbocharging like you plan to do.

however, now it sounds like you have plans for the street? is that correct? if you are, i can tell you that Ito himself said it would suck on the street.

Bridgeports have a weak spot called a bridge. Short engine life usually due to the bridge giving out. Like i said not very common anymore as more and more people just throw a turbo on a rotary and make tons and tons of power or they just end up rebuilding before the bridge is able to fail.

Since your posting in the 20b section then I assume your going 20b. You can make 1000+ hp on a streetport and nice turbo setup so why bother with complicatiing it with bridgeports j ports p ports and whatever else.?
Are you looking for 500hp 750hp 1000hp?... whp? bhp? what kind of drag car? 6 second? 10 second?

What about going with stock ports in the irons and a semi pp and of course ported exhaust?
Just to be able to get big hp without modifying these hard to get 20B irons...
