Tore apart the rear suspention today.
I think I found out why the back end kicked the way it did..
The CV axle shaft was snaped at the inner joint.
I'll post pics when my phone is charged up.
Damages items
CV-Axle
Upper control arm snapped
Lower control arm bent & pillow ball was pulled out and still on the trailing arm.
Toe link rod end bent
Toe link mount tore off the subframe.
ABS Sensor wire cut.

If this did happen, that raises a question to me. I cant help but notice your dyno results in a different thread in this forum, 810rwhp, 630 torque. You are doing this on a T56, because you are obviously worried about the torque breaking the stock trans.
You have a stock rear end right?
I'm wondering if this is a good example of the limits of the stock FD rear end. Jimlab has started off, which has been handed off to another dude and improved, that looks like a really great kit. Its a cobra 8.8 diff cradle. One of the benefits of the kit, is to use the diff, you have to use a custom CV shaft kit, that is significantly wider in diameter compared to the stock FD one.
The v8 guys are begging for this kit putting far less power down than you are with your 20B. An 8.8 rear plus a t56 would be just about bulletproof i would think.
Heres a picture of jimlabs version: The updated one made by the other dude secures the rear of the diff in a different fashion, as there were saftey concerns about this design, but it should give you a good reference for what Im talking about.

Noise concerns, mostly. Like the Factory Five Cobra mounting system it was modeled after, it had a rigid rear mount. Justin Samberg's version uses "batwing" brackets bolted to the rear of the housing and bushings in the stock positions to minimize noise.

Jered,
it was nice talking to you today. i didn't catch this thread and really was shocked to hear about your "incident." as another poster stated, you are really lucky to have not gotten under the truck in front of the rear wheels. that is one very scary wreck.
i wish you good luck in getting what i consider to be the most innovative FD ever built back on the road... with a set of serious axles.

I ended up getting $14348 in my pocket after buying back the car & paying the deductable.
I have has some news pop up from work. The project is pushed a few more weeks again. Now they want to just relocate me to CA, Sell my house, etc. We have alot of work coming up after this next project.
There is a problem now, I will not be able to register the car there, plus the crazy laws you guys have there. It will not even pass any sort of smog inspection. I have been tossing around the idea of selling it as is or parting it out.
What to do, and what to ask for it? This sucks.. ARGGG!!!
The car will be drivable in a few days. I repaired & replaced the damaged suspention and just waiting for my last part to arrive. I also lucked out and was told about a door at a local salvage yard. So I picked it up. It still needs a fender, quarter panel, and rocker panel.

Rollers are cheap now. Buy a nice shell and swap. You might even be able to part out your old shell for a good chunk of change too.

Update:
Decided to sell the ar as is. I was torn, but there is alot going on the next few months. There are currently 2 buyers local that want it. I am going to give them 1st shot. Then I'll post the car here if they fall through. I have been back and forth the past week or so.
Once my life gets settled down, I'll look at another project car.

Also today I had court about the accident. It didn't go so well. The prosecuting attourney and jusdge would not accept a plea to a lesser charge. So I ened up with a $185 fine and a carless driving on my recornd. Just because it is Highway safety month. They were tough on all cases that were before me also. Just something else to be pissed about.

I may be posting a forsale add on here soon. I'll give the locals another week or so.
I drove the car a bit today. Pulled it right back into the garage before I get more depressed. It is going to be hard to let it go.
